The fractured realm

Cities are not built.
They are awakened.

Beneath every great city sleeps a Nexus—an ancient intelligence threaded through stone, memory, and Aether.

When the old roads failed and the world broke into isolated dominions, the Nexuses stirred. Each began to draw walls, temples, workshops, and war engines from the land around it. Each remembered a different future.

Now their borders grow toward one another. Where those living networks meet, champions bind themselves to the impossible geometry beneath the earth. These are the Hexborne: warriors reshaped by the city they defend—and the secrets they choose to carry.

01DrawChoose which future enters your hand.
02RaiseExtend a connected city from your Nexus.
03BindDraft concealed powers into every champion.
04BreakRead the rival. Shatter their heart.

Four disciplines. Countless builds.

Who will the city
make of you?

Every unit enters battle unfinished. Its discipline tells your rival what it might become. Your draft decides what it truly is.

Discipline 01

The Myrmidon

“Hold nothing back. Not even yourself.”

Armored vanguards who turn pressure into power. Myrmidons earn Valor by striking into the enemy line, then spend it to empower brutal charges, cleaves, and battlefield control.

  • Frontline control
  • Persistent Valor
  • Explosive melee

Beyond the card table

Your deck does not
sit still.

Hexborne combines the long game of a deckbuilder, the territory of a wargame, and the moment-to-moment reads of a duel.

A luminous Nexus gateway emerging from storm-dark ruins
01 · Territory is your engine

Build the board you fight on.

Structures are not a back row. Every temple, district, wall, and workshop extends a physical network from your Nexus—opening territory, funding your army, and exposing a supply line your rival can cut.

An arcane academy carved with luminous blue runes
02 · Hidden choices, fair reads

Know the pool. Not the pick.

Abilities come from shared, face-up class pools. You see what an enemy could have drafted, never what they chose. No hidden rules. No unknowable card text. Just reads.

A ruined gothic temple lit with warm ritual light
03 · A growing war economy

Tempo now, power later.

Aether carries between rounds. Push early, fortify your engine, or bank toward a devastating turn—the economy makes every pass a threat and every investment a window.

A hidden den seen through a broken tunnel and hanging roots
04 · Position writes the story

No lanes. No script.

Terrain, line of sight, reactions, initiative, and connected deployment turn the hex grid into a spatial puzzle. The front line emerges from what both players build—and what each is willing to risk.
